I’ve never travelled so much in my life, it felt like constant motion. As with her previous novels, Every Sparrow Falling is original and pacy, with convincingly flawed characters and a really believable setting in a fictional north coast seaside town. There’s a lot of humour, especially in the well-observed and largely affectionate portrayal of the Christian group - but as always with McMillan there’s a very serious story about identity and acceptance at the heart of the bltadwin.rus: 9.
