Sunshine, by Robin McKinley [Review] Review. I've never been so glad I followed up on a recommendation as I am after reading Sunshine. I wouldn't have picked it up ordinarily - it wasn't available in ebook for me or at the library, it has a main character called Sunshine. Robin McKinley. Genre. Fantasy. Publisher. Berkley Publishing Group. Publication date. Sunshine is a fantasy novel featuring vampires written by Robin McKinley and published by Berkley Publishing Group in Sunshine won the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature in Or the open-ended endings, like Dragonhaven and Sunshine, which stand alone (at least, I've never expected sequels to either), but leave you with such a sense of the story going on past the final pages. Whatever we have to go through to get there, I'm confident the ending of the Pegasus series will be exactly right for that story 🙂.
